Morjana is an artisan jewelry brand that celebrates the unique fusion of Tunisian cultural heritage and contemporary innovation. Founded by passionate jewelry artist Amel Henchiri, who brings over 30 years of experience, Morjana is dedicated to preserving and reinventing the art of Tunisian jewelry, weaving the stories of women and Tunisia into every creation.
Expertise Rooted in Heritage and Reinvention
Originally from the island of Djerba, Amel Henchiri honed her skills in Egypt (calligraphy), Belgium (sculpture), and Djerba (jewelry-making). She masters centuries-old techniques passed down by artisans from her hometown, modernizing them to create unique and timeless pieces.
Upcycling at the Heart of Creation
Our workshop in La Marsa stands out for its eco-friendly approach: we recover broken or damaged silver jewelry, usually destined for disposal, and transform them into contemporary, precious creations. This innovative process elevates Tunisian craftsmanship while meeting the expectations of a modern, conscious clientele.
Unique, Handmade Jewelry from Tunisia
Every Morjana piece is handmade in our atelier using silver, gold-plated silver, and carefully selected precious and semi-precious stones. Our two artisans, Rafika and Fathia, accompany every step of the creative process, ensuring the authenticity and exclusivity of each piece.
